Hydrogen is very safe. And safety is always important when it comes to mobility. Professor Michael Swain of the University of Miami has conducted research into this. A comparison was made between a car fire with hydrogen and a car fire with petrol. Before we show decision makers from governments and companies what the effects are, we happily say that we would rather be in a burning hydrogen car than in a petrol car that catches fire. The amazement and disbelief quickly give way to approval and appreciation when we show the photo.
